With a 15 year career in education, Nancy has taught Special Ed., Waldorf kindergarten and alternative education in various settings. One of her biggest learning experiences was mothering 2 children who are now grown up and still occasionally ask her for advice.
She continues studying yoga and Ayurveda, movement, and many areas of the healing arts.
Her yoga practice began in 1973 with a focus on mindfulness as a way to help quiet her hyper-active mind and it's an ongoing practice! She views yoga as a "lifelong learning experience to discover/uncover one's true self."
